REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL ADVERTISMENT DALTON POLICE DEPARTMENT DALTON, GEORGIA Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Dalton for the purchase and installation of six (6) cubicle work area systems. The proposal should include labor for the removal of the current Inscape cubicle systems and any trade-in discounts or disposal fees along with the installation of the new systems. Proposals must be for six modern workstations approximately 8ft. x 6ft. and include ergonomically sound designs. Four stations to have a four programmable electric height adjustable base with auto stop under one work surface. Each station must have at least, four duplex outlets with 8 wire 4 circuit design to allow separate circuit for computer as well as voice and data jacks. Each station to have an above work surface power and data accessory with 2 duplexes, voice and data outlets and 2 USB charging ports. System must be steel frame with PVC raceway. Panel connectors to be metal to metal (preferably draw rod design) for strength and ease of reconfigure. Panels are to be “BOTH” ACCOUSTICAL AND TACKABLE. Design must have 1/2 clear glazed panels as applicable to allow view to the main lobby and between stations. Each cubicle should have a Box- Box- File and File- File except the stations with electric height adjustable base to have a 4 drawer combo file. Each station to have an overhead with door. All storage to have locks. Each station to have all locks on overhead and pedestals to be keyed alike. All work surfaces to be high pressure laminate with a minimum 3mm edge. The project site is the Police Services Center located at 301 Jones Street Dalton Georgia 30720. Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at the office of the City of Dalton Finance Director, 300 West Waugh Street, Dalton, Georgia 30720. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. Sealed Proposals will be opened in public and read aloud on October 19, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Dalton City Hall located at 300 West Waugh Street, Dalton, GA. Copies of the specifications may be obtained at the Dalton Police Department, 301 Jones Street, Dalton, GA, or by emailing bbatchelor@cityofdalton-ga.gov or by calling 706-278-9085 ext. 9232. Any questions concerning the specifications shall be directed Barry Batchelor @ 706-278-9085 ext. 9232. All proposers are required to complete a site visit and obtain actual measurements for the area and include a design diagram for the area the cubicles will be installed. The proposal must provide for comparable work surface dimensions and storage capacity as the current cubicle system provides Envelopes containing proposals must be sealed, addressed to Cindy Jackson, Finance Director, City of Dalton, 300 West Waugh Street, Dalton, Georgia 30720, and marked as follows: “Proposal for Cubicle Work Station Replacement-Records Project - Police Services Center” Only Proposals from businesses that have submitted completed vendor packages and have been approved by the Dalton Finance Department will be considered. Or, contact the Finance Department at (706) 278-6006 Proposals will be required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for sixty (60) calendar days after the date of opening the proposals.
