Public Notice Public Review of the City of Dalton's Program Year [PY] 2016 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report [CAPER] A public Hearing will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at City Hall in the Council Chamber located at 300 West Waugh Street, Dalton, Georgia 30720 to receive comments on the content of the City of Dalton's PY 2016 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report [CAPER] for the time period of July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development [HUD] requires the City of Dalton to submit an annual report describing its performance using federal, state, local and private resources to meet priorities and objectives set forth in the City's Consolidated Plan for 2014-2018. This report provides a review of activities carried out under the Community Development Block Grant [CDBG] Program to address the needs of the low and moderate income citizens, the homeless, the elderly and the mentally and/ or physically disable persons in our community. Copies of the 2016 CAPER will be available for examination and comment by the public beginning Friday, August 4, 2017, at City Hall located at 300 West Waugh Street, Dalton, Georgia 30720 (telephone: 706-529-2461) and on the CDBG page of the City's website www.cityofdalton-ga.gov Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. The required public review period begins Friday, August 4, 2017 and ends Tuesday, September 5, 2017. The deadline for all written comments is Tuesday, September 5, 2017 by 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time[EST].
