NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION City of Tunnel Hill Notice is hereby given that a General Election for the City of Tunnel Hill will be held on November 7, 2017 for the offices of Councilman Post 3, 4 & 5. Each candidate shall file notice of his/her candidacy and pay the qualification fees in the office of the City Clerk, Tunnel Hill City Hall, 201 G Vaughn Pkwy from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. no sooner than Monday, August 21, 2017 and not later than Wednesday, August 23, 2017. Qualifying fees are $55.00. The last day to register and be eligible to vote in this election will be on October 10, 2017. You can register to vote in the Board of Elections office located in the Whitfield County Courthouse. The polls will be open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. If there is a need for a runoff election, the date of this election will be December 5, 2017.
