CITATION STATE OF GEORGIA, COUNTY OF WHITFIELD. NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Whitfield County, Georgia, have resolved to consider the abandonment and closing for public purposes of Frye Road, located in Land Lot 289 of the 9th District and 3rd Section of Whitfield County, Georgia, a more full and complete description of said road being reflected on survey/sketch available for inspection during regular business hours at the offices of the Board of Commissioners of Whitfield County, Georgia. Said matter shall be heard at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Whitfield County, Georgia, on the 12th day of September, 2016, at the Whitfield County Administration Building No.2, corner of King & Selvidge Street, Dalton, Georgia, beginning at 6:00 P.M. For good cause shown, said road may be declared closed for public purposes and abandoned as a section of the county road system such that the rights of the public in and to the said road shall cease.
